Dragon Cafe in the City is a relaxing space, open to everyone. Located in Shoe Lane Library, it offers a range of free activities and events to promote and support mental wellbeing. Dragon Café in the City also provides an open, quiet and calm environment, to reflect or to practice mindfulness on your own – A space to look after your own wellbeing – mind, body and soul.
The Dragon Café in the City will be back in Shoe Lane Library on Wednesday 10th October to celebrate World Mental Health Day and National Libraries Week. Activities will run from 12pm-7.30pm and will include massage, yoga, chess and talks, including one from Dan Keeley who was diagnosed with bipolar disorder in 2012 when he was suicidal and who in 2017 ran from the Colosseum in Rome to the London Eye (1250 miles) in order to share his story and to keep more men alive by talking!
